RSS

Feeds

Want to keep current with new photos and ramblings from here, but without having to remember to visit regularly? The RSS feeds below are just the solution!

RSS is a standardized method of allowing users to subscribe to content from a variety of sources and receive all new posts automatically. All in one place, whether you want to keep track of updates from one site or a thousand. It’s sort of like a Following tab from your preferred social media site, but for websites.

Keep in mind that these feeds are only meant for use with RSS readers. RSS uses the XML document format which is structured specifically to make parsing and consumption by programs easier, not to look pretty or be readable by humans. If you just want to follow posts and photos via the website, use the navigation links to the appropriate sections at the top of this (or any other) page. It’s all the same stuff, and those are meant for easy and hopefully pleasurable viewing and reading by humans.

I’ve listed a few RSS reader/client options over in the sidebar (or further down below if you’re on a small screen) if you don’t already use RSS for anything else. Once you’ve picked one that suits your needs and preferences, you can use it to subscribe to any of the following RSS feeds, depending on what you’re interested in.

Everything
The firehose feed that contains everything published on the site, all in one spot. If you subscribe to this one, the others will be duplicative. If more types of content are added to the site, those will automatically show up here without you needing to update your feed subscription.
Photos
A feed of every new photo, regardless of the galleries or styles it belongs to.
Blog
Just the blog posts, but every one of them.
